Live Series
Giclee print on archival photographic paper
There I stood - in front of Heidelberg Castle. But unlike the crowd around me, staring slack-jawed up at the architecture, my eyes - and my camera - were pointed straight at the ground. I just couldn’t get over the moss.
The “Live” series zooms in on the tiny green universe that thrives beneath our notice, and its stunning variety of colors and forms.
I shot the images in normal format, but chose to present them as circles. The circle form abstracts the images - in some, there’s no longer a clear up or down. It echoes a petri dish or kaleidoscope: small but never stagnant, vibrantly alive.
