What would it look like if a floral bouquet suddenly exploded? The FLWR Bomb series is a bright mess of petals, leaves and pollen on a clean white background.

My first step is selecting flowers and turning them into confetti. I pull off petals, cut up stems, and arrange everything on a white sheet of paper to light and photograph from above. When I'm working on a FLWR Bomb image, I feel like an abstract painter, using petals instead of paints. I print the final images on metal for maximum color and shine. They’re eye-catching and intriguing pieces, and just get better the bigger you print them.
