Wilt Series
Photography - Giclee print on watercolor paper
It was February 22.
My coworker’s Valentine’s Day flowers had been wilting on her desk now for eight days.
Each day I watched them droop their heads a little further. The colors of the roses melted like crayons.
Finally, I broached the question: Could I take those home with me to photograph?
The Dead Flower Series had begun.
